Nick goes to talk to Sandra, who confesses that she wishes Pearce had died and not Hallam and doesn't want him to be one of the pallbearers. Nick understands, while it does nothing to make Pearce feel better about the whole thing. In the quietness of the station office, Jack tells him that he has also lost a colleague during a shout and knows how it feels. Everyone attends Hallam's funeral. |
