| Overview | : | The new inspector of the X Tuscolano Irene Valli finds herself involved in a robbery in the store, where she and her nephew Stefano, eleven years old, happen to be. The two criminals do not hesitate to kill the owner of the store and beat the boy. With the excuse of wanting to treat him, Irene manages to make Stefano escape, who immediately calls Mauro. When the officers arrive, one of the criminals flees, taking a customer hostage. The other is found killed together with a boy, Irene is on the ground unconscious. From the analysis of Alessandro Berti of the forensic science department it turns out that it was Irene's gun that fired. The inspector declares that she does not remember anything and is subjected to a severe disciplinary investigation. Mauro promises with the others to discover the truth to help her exonerate herself. |
