| Overview | : | Hans und Franzi bemerken in den frühen Morgenstunden einen Brand auf einer Werft. Hans kann den Inhaber Raimund Thomsen gerade noch aus den Flammen retten. Der Mann ist den Polizisten ein Begriff, denn Thomsen hat es kürzlich zu stadtweiter Bekanntheit gebracht: Er hat angekündigt, er wolle statt Binnenschiffen Luftschiffe bauen. Thomsens Sohn Sebastian steht dieser Idee mehr als skeptisch gegenüber und hat dies seinem Vater auch stets offen gesagt. Er äußert den Verdacht, sein Vater könne manisch-depressiv sein. Tatsächlich bestätigt auch Philipp Jung, der sich ein Bild von dem exzentrischen Unternehmer macht, den Verdacht auf eine bipolare Störung. Hat Thomsen in einer unzurechnungsfähigen Anwandlung den Brand selbst gelegt? Oder wollte sich der Ex-Angestellte Daniel Papenburg an seinem ehemaligen Chef rächen? Er hatte sich zur Tatzeit frühmorgens heimlich auf dem Werftgelände herumgetrieben und den Notruf verständigt. Raimund Thomsen selbst macht seinen Sohn für alles verantwortlich. Verzweifelt versucht seine Ehefrau zwischen Vater und Sohn zu vermitteln Melanie und Helen sind mittlerweile sehr gute Freundinnen.
