The movie helped shoot Jennifer Lawrence to superstardom and introduced us to the world of Panem and their crazy Hunger Games Battle Royale ritual. The film definitely raises some questions though. Like what’s up with that “lucky” mockingjay pin? Why doesn’t anyone look hungry? What’s up with Peeta’s makeup skills; what kinds of cakes was he making in that bakery? How did Haymitch instantly get over his alcoholism? Why did they divide this into four movies? |
